Located in the heart of the Japanese Alps, the city known as Hida-Takayama is one of the most famous laces in Japan for wooden furniture. One of our favorite collections in the last recent years is the cobrina line, made in cooperation with long-established furniture manufacturer Hidasangyo for retailer Kitutuki who has showrooms all over Jaan including Tokyo, Hokkaido, Osaka and Sendai.
The goal for the designers was to create airy furniture and lower its stature so that it fits comfortably in any room. Two types of Zhang seating are used with back plates that give an upside down look. In addition to the natural furniture shades, there are color variations in black, blue and gray.
Our favorite thing about these pieces is that they can be arranged to suit your own taste colors and patterns and according to your living space. The line is in compact form which makes for a good fit almost anyway you place it.
