"Our home is my playground, which means I change our interior design quite often," says Zilverblauw designer, Anki Wijnen of the creative Dutch abode she lives in with her partner Casper Boot and their two sons Wolf Mus.
"It’s so funny to see...[we went] from a lot of colors and stuff to pastels and even more white," she notes.
It's the designer and blogger's eye for detail, signature art and use of color that's made her so popular - her site, Zilverblauw.nl has been featured in publications and blogs since 2010, such as IKEA Family Live, 101 woonideeën, VT Wonen, Mollie Makes and in the books ‘Creative Family Home’ and ‘Bright Bazaar’. We’ve worked with clients like HEMA, Campina, Albert Heijn, Leen Bakker, Albelli, Caravanity and Mona.
But notoriety was never Wijnen's goal. "I blog because I love documenting our (daily) life."

A Few of Their Favorite Things...
"The neon light is custom made by Luc from Neon Designs. Purchasing custom made neon is pretty expensive, but totally worth the costs. Don’t hesitate to contact Luc [by EMAIL] if you want to know more about it."
"I bought the shelving on marktplaats, a Dutch auction site."
"The wallpaper is from the Dutch brand Onszelf and can be bought here, they also ship abroad."
"The white locker has been in our family for about 30 years now, it originally comes from a boarding-school where it was listed as trash. My parents picked it up and it’s been in my parents living room ever since I can remember. After Casper and I bought our house, it became ours. We’ve replaced the knobs and painted it white."
